A short history
"The Quiet Orchestra" is the name I gave to my playtime in music. Here's how I have filled this time over the past few years.
First, I started messing around on my pc, a by now ancient Pentium III - 733 mHz, with 256 RAM. I ran a freeware sequencer on it, with a lot of freeware vst plugins (many of those are mentioned on the links page). My first two songs date from this period, and I made them under the name "The Quiet Orchestra".
Then I bought a keyboard and quickly gave up on learning to play it properly, something I regret to this day but am too lazy to really do something about. I switched names to "Droidmusik" and made some more tracks. I also, briefly, had a myspace under this name. This went on for about a year.
Then the computer started its slow and painful process of self-destruction, and after one very persistent failure I gave up on my pc sequencer. I bought an Electribe MX, and changed the name back to "The Quiet Orchestra".

Band members
The Quiet Orchestra currently consists of the following band-members, in no particular order: Korg Electribe EMX, Simon Van Bockstal, Beyerdynamics DT-100, the wall plug of the room the other three of us happen to be in. We get on like a house on fire.
